STAMPED CONCRETE DRIVEWAY

Stamped concrete is a great way to improve your standard driveway with some custom texture and dimension. Stamping the concrete in your driveway requires us to use a stencil that is lightly applied to the wet concrete. When the concrete dries, it will dry with the lines and patterns in place from the stencil, creating a beautiful surface with a stunning design. There are many options to choose from when selecting your desired pattern, and our team would be happy to work with you to find the one you love most.

Stone Aesthetic

What clients enjoy most about stamped concrete is that it’s able to mimic other natural building materials, such as stone. With stamped concrete, we can easily give your driveway the stone aesthetic you're looking for but with the durability of concrete. When stamped and stained, your concrete will have the same outlines as traditional stones and can even be stamped with ridges and indentations that are similar to natural stone for the most authentic effect. You can also choose to have the stamped pattern in various sizes to mix and match the outlines of the stones or a more natural look. Once complete, your stamped concrete should be left to cure and sealed in place with a durable sealant.

Landscape

Adding stamped concrete to your exterior surfaces is also a great way to enhance your home’s landscape. The effects of the stamped concrete can add to your outdoor landscape and make the transition between your paved surfaces and the greenery more natural and smooth. We can also incorporate stamped concrete into your landscape with adjacent walkways, paths, and stairs that are attached to your stamped driveway. Doing so will make your outdoors appear more cohesive and uniform with the same concrete patterns.

Water-resistant

Adding customizations to your concrete doesn’t make your concrete surfaces any less durable. In fact, your stamped driveway will still be just as water-resistant as standard concrete but will have a new design. Concrete itself is an incredibly strong and water-resistant material that can deter water from your home. However, concrete does tend to crack as it undergoes freezing and thawing cycles, meaning your stamped concrete can also crack too. Therefore, it’s important to keep your concrete sealed and regularly maintained for optimal strength and longevity.

UV-resistant

Along with being water-resistant, concrete is also UV-resistant. This makes it ideal for your outdoor surfaces and especially your driveway that will likely be exposed to the elements and direct sunlight on a regular basis. Because concrete is UV-resistant, you can trust that it will last for many years to come without the need for regular repairs and maintenance. Although the concrete will heat up when exposed to sunlight, the UV rays won’t damage the concrete’s surface or affect the patterns and outlines of your stamped designs. As always, adding a sealant to the top surface of your stamped concrete will prolong its lifespan and protect it from any potential damages, including weather damages that can compromise the material’s integrity.
