Stamped Concrete Patterns

When choosing how you want to stamp your patio, there are again many patterns to choose from. You don’t have to choose the same pattern that the rest of your concrete surfaces were stamped with, but you can certainly do so if you want a uniform and even appearance. Weather-protective

What makes concrete a great option for outdoor surfaces, such as patios, is that it's weather-proof and able to combat most weathering elements. Although it can succumb to damages during freezing and thawing cycles, you likely won't have to worry about this much if you've taken steps to protect your concrete and seal it regularly. Even when your concrete is stamped, it can still provide unbeatable protection from the weather elements, including rain and UV rays. It's able to protect itself as the seasons change and doesn't require ongoing maintenance to keep it safe and secure. Your stamping patterns won't be compromised even if the sun shines directly on your concrete.

Stamped Concrete Repairs

If your stamped concrete does eventually succumb to damages, such as holes or cracks, our team can offer stamped concrete repairs to assist you further. We know it can be frustrating when you have damaged concrete and the damages extend onto your designs and alter the appearance of your stamped patterns. Our repairs can seal the concrete cracks and damages enough to prevent the cracks from spreading, but also to replace and mend the damaged pieces that are left looking unsightly. Fortunately, most of our stamping designs are also integrated with joint patterns, meaning that if a crack does happen, it should only happen in a certain location, which makes it easier to blend and mend.

Cleaning and Upkeep

If you're not looking forward to maintaining your concrete or regularly washing it, don't fret! Stamped concrete doesn't require ongoing maintenance or upkeep to keep it looking great. If you do decide you want to clean it, however, you can choose between power washing it or acid washing it. Power washing uses extensive water force to remove dirt and debris from the pores of the concrete. Acid washing, though, is an acid cleaner applied to the surface of the concrete to dissolve any dirt and debris buildup easily and efficiently. It's a great way to brighten dull and muddy concrete that has years of dirt accumulation that can't be washed away with power washing techniques.
